Several years ago, I promised the residents of Oxnard honest, competent and transparent government at City Hall.

I also asked you to Believe in Oxnard, and that has not changed. I believe the following accomplishments and goals represent my aspiration and qualification for being your Mayor of Oxnard.

Under my leadership:

-The City Council stopped an illegal retirement benefit for retired department heads.

-The City Council saved the City several times from possible bankruptcy.

-The city continues repaving hundreds of lane-miles of city streets and roads and an aggressive attack against graffiti and urban blight

-The Collection at Riverpark is thriving, providing additional sales tax revenue to the City.

-The City created the One-Stop Permit Center to help local businesses prosper.

Many challenges remain, those being that I intend to:

-Insist that all City employees continue paying their fair share toward their
retirement benefits.

-Support public safety by adding more police to the gang enforcement unit, investing in a
gang-intervention program and hiring more firefighters.

-Continue to support the reinvigoration of Downtown retail through attractive, exciting mixed-use lofts and
apartments for professionals and artists.

-Finally, I will continue fighting for the highest possible water quality and Channel Islands Harbor revitalization.

I humbly request your support.

Thank you Mayor Tim Flynn for what your accomplishments in the city of Oxnard. There has been an area which has been an eyesore for a very long time. The old Oxnard High School should be transformed into a community center sports complex. It could be a replica of the Oxnard College Sports Complex Park. We now have a very nice dog park, but the grass area between the dog parks and the PAL gym needs work! It is becoming an unhealthy environment with the less fortunate homeless moving in.

Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Mr Jalteco – let me see if I got this correct. You are “concerned” about bushes belonging to the COUNTY overgrowing onto the bike path and you are not voting for Mayor Flynn because he might not have the “connections he should have” to get YOUR issue corrected? That is your basis? REALLY?

Mr. Flynn never did anything about Victoria ave between 5th street an Gonzalez – one lane north and bushes block bike lane so cars could hit bicyclist – it may be a county issue but he should have connections- I am not voting for him- I did for his father

I have been trying to meet with him since 2 years. I have call his office numerous of time. I’m currently calling his office on a weekly bases. I’m was hopping to meet with him in regards my business. Half of his home page read about supporting local businesses, but he really don’t invest time to do what he claims. I wish I could say different, but unfortunately..I cant.

    Mr Flynn,
Please make northbound Victoria safe for people that ride bicycles.
Victoria is one lane northbound and the right side has overgrown bushes before Gonzalez and bicyclists have to be on the only lane cars are allowed to travel. Those bushes need to be cut back!
    Thank you

I have personally seen Tim Flynn be a positive influence on Oxnard high schoolers. I can definitely imagine that he brings this sort of passion on behalf of the wider population of Oxnard. A vote for Flynn would be a vote for Oxnard.

Just met Tim Flynn at my front door. What a great guy!!! Spent a generous amount of time with me discussing the hotbed topic of short term rentals in our neighborhood. Hard to feel sorry for someone living at the beach, but I believe he has empathy for full-time homeowners who are inconvenienced by the disturbances that come with rowdy renters. I admire the fact that he is walking the neighborhood and getting to know us. Kudos Tim!
